A. FOUNDATIONAL TERMS
———————————————
HRC — Harmonic Resonance Chain
A global, coherence-driven knowledge and economics system that rewards contribution. It seeks to increase collective understanding, meaning, and structure. It replaces scarcity economics with coherence economics.
Coherence
Coherence is the condition in which individuals, groups, or systems are sufficiently aligned in their understanding of context that they can act independently without working at cross-purposes. In human systems, coherence can be understood as alignment with harmony: alignment ensures that actions are oriented toward the same reality, while harmony ensures that differences in role, perspective, and expression add to the overall results. Coherence does not require agreement, uniformity, or centralized control. It emerges when information flows are clear, shared situational awareness is present, and feedback arrives in time to allow correction. In coherent systems, coordination arises naturally because actions resonate with a common picture of reality. When coherence is absent, effort fragments, trust erodes, and control must be imposed to compensate. Coherence is therefore not a moral ideal or an ideology, but a structural property that determines whether a system adapts smoothly or degrades under pressure.
In the HRC, coherence is the basis of trust, truth, and currency generation. It represents humanity’s average knowledge base and intelligence. A multi-dimensional measure of structural alignment, harmonic resonance, semantic accuracy, temporal durability, and economic value.
Decoherence (Societal)
A breakdown in shared meaning, trust, and alignment.
Manifests as misinformation, polarization, fragmentation, burnout, and institutional failure.
The HRC is designed to reverse mass decoherence.
Proof-of-Coherence (PoC)
The consensus mechanism of the HRC.
Instead of validating hashes (blockchain), PoC validates:
• structural clarity
• semantic meaning
• harmonic resonance
• temporal endurance
• contribution value
PoC is the verifying backbone of the new economy.
Coherence Economy
An economic system where value comes from contributions that increase collective meaning, not from extraction or scarcity.
Labor → learning
Competition → resonance
Currency → coherence
Knowledge Oroboros
The symbolic and cognitive layers of the HRC. The core memory of the whole system, as well as decay monitoring. The knowledge doesn’t actually decay; it’s represented mathematically.
A living, evolving network of glyphs and meaning that represents civilization’s shared understanding.

B. CURRENCY & ECONOMIC TERMS
———————————————
κ (Kappa)
The currency of the coherence economy. Minted when a contribution increases the system’s coherence.
Key properties:
• κ decays if unused
• κ self-stabilizes
• κ produces lineage-based residual income
• κ is earned via proof-of-coherence
• κ replaces retirement via “lifetime contribution stabilization”
UBG — Universal Basic Generativity
The HRC’s replacement for UBI.
Every person is guaranteed a baseline κ through generative contributions (learning, verification, civic resonance).
Lineage Kappa
Residual κ earned from contributions that continue to propagate value over time.
A stable, regenerative income tied to one’s meaningful impact.
Decay Mechanism
Unmaintained or obsolete knowledge loses coherence value over time, causing κ to decay unless reinforced, validated, or expanded.
Contribution Pathways
A few of the structured avenues through which people earn κ are:
• creative insight
• scientific discovery
• verification
• harmonization
• teaching
• translation
• synthesis
This does not represent all the ways a person can earn κ.

C. GLYPH & LANGUAGE SYSTEM TERMS
———————————————
Glyph
A multi-layer symbolic unit made of three or more triads. Glyphs contain:
• at least two triadic semantic structures, plus.
• harmonic frequency
• color-tone relation
• they can be encoded as JSON or YAML.
Glyphs are the “structure of meaning” within the HRC. The color and sound allow a structured way to apply an emotional layer to each glyph. This layer is the only layer that will shift and help inform the system of a need to adapt or change. Such as the majority losing faith and trust in governments and police forces.
Triad
The core building block of glyphs. The atom of meaning.
- Input / Essence — what the thing is
- Opposition — its natural counterpoint
- Delta — the balancing/measurable difference
Triads form the cognitive “atoms” the system reasons with.
Hexad
Two triads representing a more complex idea or thing. The complete meaning-space includes:al.
The Hexad is the full syntactic blueprint of meaning in the HRC.
Emotional Drift & Convergence
Each glyph can have personal emotional associations (drift).
Averaged resonance leads to collective emotional meaning (convergence).
Glyph Network
The interconnected web of glyphs forming the Oroboros.
Similar to a living semantic neural network.

D. SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE TERMS
———————————————
Coherence Engine (CE)
The multi-layer verification system that evaluates contributions.
It analyzes meaning across five dimensions:
- Structural
- Harmonic
- Semantic
- Temporal
- Economic
It ensures bad information decays and good information stabilizes.
Structural Verification
Checks whether an idea is internally well-formed.
Harmonic Verification
Assesses resonance between symbolic, emotional, and cognitive elements.
Semantic Verification
Evaluates truth, alignment, accuracy, and conceptual integrity.
Temporal Verification
Measures whether information survives time, contradiction, or decay.
Economic Verification
Determines whether a contribution adds value to the knowledge ecosystem.
Resonance Pathway
A person’s journey from idea → coherence → κ-earning → structural stabilization.
Contribution Nodes
Local or digital hubs where people submit work, verify others’ work, participate in collaborative coherence cycles.
Rehabilitation Nodes
A post-scarcity justice innovation.
Offenders repair coherence through contribution, learning, and kappa-earning pathways instead of incarceration.
———————————————
E. SOCIAL MODEL TERMS
———————————————
Resonance Officer
A new public safety role focused on de-escalation, emotional intelligence, coherence restoration, and community integration.
A replacement for scarcity-era policing.
Coherence-Based Justice
A justice model where crime is treated as a failure of coherence — a system-level misalignment — rather than a permanent flaw.
Punishment → reintegration.
Regenerative Governance
Governance optimized for meaning, coherence, and shared understanding rather than power or scarcity.

F. GAME/TASK LOOP TERMS (The HRC Loop)
———————————————
Discover → Verify → Harmonize → Earn (κ)
The core loop of the HRC:
- Discover — Find or create new structured insight
- Verify — Test its truth, meaning, coherence
- Harmonize — Integrate it into the Knowledge Oroboros
- Earn (κ) — Receive value for contribution
Knowledge Resonance Events
Moments when many contributors harmonize around a meaningful insight, causing a burst of coherence (and κ rewards).
Coherence Cascades
Large-scale propagation of verified understanding through the network.
G. FUTURE-STATE TERMS
Post-Scarcity Civilization
A society where meaning, coherence, and contribution—not labor scarcity—form the basis of value.
Cognitive Commons
The global shared mindspace formed by the Knowledge Oroboros and the Coherence Engine.
Coherence Singularity
The tipping point where coherence accelerates faster than decoherence for the first time in human history.
Coherence Horizon
The maximum depth and span of meaning a society can maintain before fragmentation. The HRC pushes this outward continuously.
